The Yard recently announced national grants totaling $870,000 from the American Express Foundation, the Barr Foundation, Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts and the Tower Family Fund, Inc.

The multi-year awards will support many of the Yard programs including the Making It educational initiative, the new Winter Yard performance series and helping to expand the organization’s traditional warm weather on-site operations into a fully year-round artistic and educational campus.
